The archives contain a large collection of photographs dating back to the 19th century. Of particular importance is the collection from the 1950s to 1960s, curated by Fr. Antoine Sveda, documenting the school’s evolution from pre-expansion to post-construction.
1st of may 1915 visit of Sultan Hussein Kamel of Egypt and the Sudan. In a photograph taken on November 27, 1955, one year before the Suez Crisis, Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser can be seen welcoming a delegation from the Brothers of the Christian Schools to his office at the Revolutionary Leadership Council, a gesture of appreciation for their service to Egyptian youth. The photographs also features Ali Sabri, former Director of the Republic’s Office and later head of intelligence and prime minister, and Minister of Finance Mr. Abdel Moneim El Qaisouni, both alumni of the school.
